Born in Gosford, New South Wales, 1976.

Graduate of the National Art School, Darlinghurst, Sydney.

My art practice explores people and animals in everyday life. Finding the character in each subject has been a rich and rewarding experience..the commonalities between humans & animals are never ending. My imagery comes from collecting pictures and photographs.

I like to draw freehand before I paint my canvas. When I paint I find the technical issues of space, composition, colour and mark making at the forefront of my mind.

I'm constantly amazed by the never ending challenges and triumphs one can get by painting and I find myself totally bewitched by the talents of artists such as Jenny Saville, Ben Quilty, Talouse LeTrec, Degas.. and many more.
